Bettie is a native of Wake County and shares a home with her long suffering husband of 35 years, James. They ran off the 3 children they raised and changed the locks on the doors. She graduated from NCSU and remains loyal to the Wolfpack even though a national championship in not in the cards – for any team. She has earned a certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University where she holds out more hope for a championship one day. She has studied at that school in Chapel Hill which she refuses to name, and at Harvard University.

This course will provide participants with basic knowledge about social media tools and how to use them most effectively: free local directories like Yelp; social media such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google+; and mobile marketing.
